Why Website Hosting & Maintenance Matters
Website development is the initial investment in building your website. Hosting and maintenance are ongoing services that keep it running after launch. Your agreement identifies what is included and what is billed separately.
- Website development
- Designing and building your website within the agreed project scope. This is a project cost, not ongoing hosting.
- Website hosting
- The ongoing infrastructure that keeps your website available online. Hosting is separate unless explicitly included in your agreement.
- Maintenance & support
- Routine maintenance, monitoring and the content-update allowance included in your selected care plan.
- Domain registration
- Registration and renewal of your website address. Domain fees are separate unless your agreement includes them.
Domain renewals, third-party subscriptions, AI usage fees and additional development may be separate charges depending on your agreement.
Your website is an investment. Our care plans keep it secure, updated, and performing at its best month after month.
Routine maintenance and monitoring are included in every plan and do not count against your monthly content-update time.
Content updates cover changes to existing text, photos, business hours, and contact information. Unused time does not roll over to the next month. Additional work requires a separate quote and your approval before it begins.
Major redesigns, new pages, new software features, custom development, and significant functionality changes are quoted separately.
Custom Software Maintenance & Support
Custom software, dashboards, integrations, and digital platforms often need specialized care beyond a standard website plan. Support is scoped to your system and defined in a written service agreement.
- Software updates
- Bug fixes
- Integration monitoring
- Security maintenance
- Database maintenance
- Technical troubleshooting
- Performance monitoring
- Ongoing enhancements under separate agreements
